Chola fulfills our body’s need for protein. Various delicious dishes can be made with this gram. One such delicious dish is roasted sour-sweet gram.
Ingredients
Boiled gram: 2 cups
Onion chop: 1 cup
Onion paste: 1 tbsp
Ginger paste: 1 teaspoon
Garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
Hot spice powder: quantity
Tomato paste: 1 piece
Oil: 3 tbsp
Tamarind decoction: 2 tbsp
Sugar: 1 teaspoon
Coriander leaves: 1 tbsp
Crushed green chilies: 1 tbsp
Salt: to taste
Steps
Step 1
Soak the gram in water overnight and boil it with salt.
Step 2
Heat the mustard oil in a pan, lightly brown the onion and fry it, add the tomato paste, bata and powdered spices.
Step 3
When the spices are added, add the boiled gram, cover with tamarind phosphate, sugar, and a small amount of water, and cook.
Step 4
When gram is mixed with spices, sprinkle green chilies and coriander leaves and serve with murdi.
