Potato lollipops are a delicacy. Potatoes can be easily made at home. Perfect for tiffin or breakfast. Comes with a dipping sauce.
Boiled potatoes grated or grated: one and a half cup
Finely chop the onion: 1/4 cup
Coriander leaves: 2-3 tbsp
Homemade fresh bread crumbs (blended in a blender): 1/2 cup
Chili powder: 1/4 teaspoon
Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
Ginger paste: 1/2 tsp
Garlic paste: 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
Salt: to taste
Materials for making tempura
Flour: 2 tbsp
Water: A little
Dried chilli powder or chili flakes: 1 tsp
Italian seasoning (basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary): 1 tsp
For the dipping sauce
Mayonnaise: 3 tbsp
Thick sour yogurt: 1/4 cup
Finely chopped onion: 2 tbsp
Sugar: 1 teaspoon
Coriander leaves Mihikuchi: a little
Salt: 1 pinch
Bread crumbs, red chilli powder and Italian seasoning should be mixed together.
Make a paste by mixing flour and water.
To make potato lollipops, you have to apply oil on your hands first so that the potato mixture does not stick to your hands. Then take the quantity of potato mixture in the palm of your hand and make a round ball. After making the ball, it should be spread on the flour paste and bread crumbs should be applied in such a way that the bread crumbs stick well with the ball.
Heat oil in a frying pan. When the oil is hot, fry the potato balls in deep oil. No more balls can be fried together. The balls should be shaken lightly so that they do not break and get equal heat on all sides. If it turns golden brown, it should be taken down. Make a lollipop by attaching a toothpick or stick to the balls.
