The umpire has filed a report against one person for illegal bowling action. He is Sunil Narine. The second man, Andre Russell, was again injured by a knee injury. Today, before Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore play in Sharjah on Monday, the two cricketers are in discomfort at the Kolkata Knight Riders camp.
Narine will be able to go ball in the competition though. But if a report is submitted against his action again in a match, he will not be able to bowl in the current competition. Narain had problems with action before. Before the 2014 Champions League T20 final, a report was submitted against illegal action. Narine was dropped after playing only 6 matches in the 2015 IPL.
According to Knight sources, Narain will be seen bowling in Sharjah against the Giants on Monday. But is Russell completely healthy? A search in Abu Dhabi revealed that he was in good spirits. MRI scan was done in the morning. The game depends on the report. Russell, however, was present at the pool session this morning. However, if the Caribbean all-rounder does not play, Tom Banton can come.
Knight captain Dinesh Karthik, however, wants to go against the giants with full force. Currently, both teams have won four out of six matches. Rhythm is the captain of both teams. But the biggest panic for the Knights is AB de Villiers. Did not get a run against Chennai. A small field like Sharjah is the ideal stage for him to turn around.
