After world number one all-rounder Ben Stokes, Steve Smith, one of the best batsmen in the world, is in doubt whether he will be available at the start of the IPL. Rajasthan Royal’s management is sure that Stokes will not be available from the start due to family reasons. But before the start of the league, there were concerns about the former Aussie captain in the Rajasthan camp. Smith did not play in the third and final ODI against England after the break. Despite playing in three Twenty20 matches against England, the Australian camp did not take the risk of fielding Smith in the first two ODIs. Smith suffered a head injury in practice before the start of the one-day series against England. The Australian team management did not put Smith in the first XI in the first two ODIs without any risk. Everyone thought Smith would return to the field in the third ODI!
