Those who like fenugreek in meat cooking can try this fenugreek calli recipe. The recipe is taken from Siddika Kabir’s book.
Ingredients
Meat: 1 kg
Ginger paste: 2 teaspoons
Garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
Onion crumbs: 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder: 1 teaspoon
Chili powder: 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder: 2 teaspoons
Cumin powder: 2 teaspoons
Fenugreek paste: 2 teaspoons
Bay leaves: 1
Cinnamon, 2 cm: 2 pieces
Soybean oil: 1/2 cup
Onion slices: 1/2 cup
Crushed garlic: 2 teaspoons
Steps
Step 1
Cut the meat into pieces. Mix all the powder and bata spices, onion powder, bay leaves, salt and 2 tbsp oil in the meat very well. Put the meat in the oven with 4 cups of water. Drain the water and when the meat is cooked, remove it.
Step 2
In another pot, fry the onion slices and crushed garlic in the remaining oil until brown and fry the meat with cinnamon. When the meat is cooked and the aroma of fenugreek comes out, cover it with 1/2 cup boiling water and boil it once.
